This is HARD to do. Every year, since 2014 or so, I have held a priority party for my friends. I started with my little ladies' Bible study, because I needed to get my habits in gear, and they were the BEST people to help me stay accountable!
When I spent time thinking about why my priorities did not line up with what I WANTED my life to look like, I discovered the main point of contention included how much TIME I spent on the most important parts of my life. If you want a good relationship, you have to spend time together, right? Well, if you want a good relationship with, say... your kitchen's cleanliness, you have to spend time on it.
You don't want to have momma guilt, and you DO want to have a peaceful flow. Well, habits, just like relationships, take time to build. Take a look at the video on Youtube and spend a little time doing a brain dump.
A brain dump is simply when you take a piece of paper and write down EVERYthing on your mind.
After your brain dump, you'll be more ready to do the exercise of categorizing your priorities into about 20 or less cards. Then we go through and see which ones take up our most TIME, not just our brain space!
You need a piece of paper (colorful is better) - And I would recommend NOT notebook paper. Too see through! Check it out and prioritize with me! In TWENTY minutes, your life will line up much better with your heart, or at least you'll have a process on how to get there.
